In supporting our colleagues, we have collected a vast amount of information about arriving and resettling in a new country, either temporarily or permanently. We are now sharing it here in the hope it could be valuable to you or someone you know.
Please note that the information is subject to change at any given time due to rapidly changing circumstances.
Entering the Czech Republic
FOREIGN POLICE REGISTRATION
Ukrainian citizens must register at the foreign police department (address: Olšanská 2176, 130 00 Praha 3-Žižkov) or at any MOI department of asylum and migration policy within 30 days after the arrival.
Registration needs to be done in person and for the registration you need to fill in Přihlašovací_tiskopis.pdf. In the case of accommodation in hotels or other facilities, this obligation is handled by the landlord. We recommend that you make sure that the landlord has completed this task.
Registration can be also done at the Assistance Center located in the Congress Center Prague at Vyšehrad (address: 5.května 1640/65, 140 21 Praha - Nusle).
VISAS AND DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS

Work Permit Application
As of March 21, 2022, toleration visa holders have free access to the labor market and do not need a separate work permit.
