Webmaster (Content Management) Description
We're looking for a Webmaster who has a background in content management.
This individual will join our remote team and cater to the American Timezone. The primary role involves managing web content on Umbraco CMS and SharePoint. The Webmaster will be in charge of publishing new content upon request, assisting intranet users, testing newly developed features, and ensuring a seamless transition between team members to maintain a 24-hour service across all locations. Given the sensitive nature of the published information, we need a detail-oriented individual who can meticulously follow procedures and handle last-minute requests efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Publication of new content upon request using both Umbraco CMS and SharePoint intranet
- Assistance to intranet users to ensure smooth platform operations
- Testing of new features developed by the team on both CMS platforms
- Assurance of a proper transition between team members for 24-hour service across all locations
- Adherence to strict procedures and guidelines during the publishing of sensitive information
- Management of last-minute requests with agility and precision
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in content management, preferably with SharePoint and Umbraco CMS
- Proficiency in SharePoint Web Content Management classic experience and Umbraco
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet demanding deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in the English language for seamless communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience in managing multilingual websites
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices
