What You’ll Do
- Work in stand-alone mode on technical pre-sale activity
- Identify gaps in delivery capabilities and propose solutions to overcome them
- Conduct meetings and interviews with the clients to clarify requirements and prepare the technical part of the proposal
- Provide guidance on the architecture to the project team as a trainer
- Find and evaluate emerging technologies
- Pro-actively analyze and measure current processes and practices and suggest/drive improvements to time to market, quality, cost
- Utilize metrics and KPIs to make decisions and track project risks, assess the business impact, and recommend mitigation plans
- Develop work instructions, training, white papers, and case studies
- Conduct interviews with candidates for Architect position
What You Have
- 5+ years of experience in external client engagement and enterprise architecture theoretical knowledge
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software and cloud development (e.g., Java, Oracle, AWS, XML, Open Source (e.g., PDF Box), Jboss, Tomcat, Apache Commons, Hibernate, Log4j)
- Ability to process, absorb, retain, and reuse knowledge for several of the most popular business domains
- Excellent documentation skills, including white papers and blueprints, commercial proposals
- Proven leadership in meetings with engineers, customer representatives, and the direction of an architecture
- Native Japanese and fluent in English
