The Solution Architect will assist in building application, data-centric, and integration solutions with a heavy emphasis on Product and Platform architecture practices. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills to manage a development team, work with business stakeholders to explain and champion functional and solution concepts and maintain continuity across the different work streams of complex projects and programs. The Solution Architect must be able to solidify current initiatives, observe customer needs, and expand legacy projects and programs.
It is a fully remote position offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether it's your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.
What You’ll Do
- Lead discussions and development, design, and architecture for strategic initiatives, including cloud, integration, and on-premises enterprise solutions, engaging various client's business and technology teams as necessary
- Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, and selecting the most optimal solution
- Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in the formalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures
- Validate and future-proof solution designs and software vendors, internal service providers, application business analysts, and application developers
- Prepare, conduct, and evaluate proof-of-concept integration solutions per business use cases. Quantify the business values and articulate the value proposition to application teams and senior management
- Document and diagram current and future state integration processes across business applications
- Develop and own Solution design and present the solution to the client's Architectural Review Board (ARB) to review/evaluate/approve key technology and system initiatives across the enterprise
What You Have
- Six years of experience in an architecture role related to software development, systems design, and deployment, or technical architecture
- At least three years of experience in overall architecture discipline (Applications, Data, Technical, Security, Development, or Operational)
- Strong understanding of architectural standards/foundation and software development methodologies. Familiarity with modeling techniques
- Exceptional understanding of Technology systems, including system design, API design, database, and programming concepts
- Understanding of architecture methodologies, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), current and future technology and application trends, and software development life cycles
- Architecture Certification (TOGAF or EACOE)
- Cloud Platform and managed services experience (ideally GCP and AWS)
- Knowledge of architectural domains: Microservices, Event Mesh, Data pipelines, BigQuery and Cloud Storage, Structured/Unstructured Data, Elastic, CI/CD Pipelines, API-First, Observability, Kafka
