What You’ll Do
- Advocate customers on building scalable cloud native applications
- Working with cross functional teams and guide the cross functional teams in solving infrastructure, architecture, performance, security, and monitoring challenges
- Advise the client on the best way to develop their web presence and applications using the full range of GCP tools
- Contribute to the architecture and design of multiple GCP Cloud environments that match the client’s business needs
- Gather customer requirements, design, and deliver innovative solutions
- Support the client in understanding all the functions and capabilities of GCP
- Drive discussions with customers regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation
- Analyze security issues related to cloud native application applications and provide recommendations for mitigations
- Develop creative EA / ARB solutions when required
- Write and maintain project documentation
- Validate compatibility of solutions with GCP Cloud Environments before implementation
What You Have
- Experience in the design and hands-on building of scalable infrastructure architecture in Google Cloud Platform Environments
- Hands-on experience with code merging and promotion and building and managing CI/CD workflows and tools
- Hands-on experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale or current hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
- Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements
- Experiment and build PoCs on customers behalf to solve the customer’s business challenges
- Knowledge on how to train fellow developers on the uses and capabilities of the Client’s GCP platform
- Experience debugging Cloud Solutions developed for GCP
- Excellent client-facing written, presentation and verbal communication skills
- Experience as a Senior Cloud Architect role
- Avid technologist, with deep expertise in modern cloud architecture and history of successful implementation of complex AWS, Azure or GCP solutions
- Experience in leading highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
- Large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in some of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, C/C++, C#, Objective-C or .NET
- Designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies
- Hands-on experience with building of DevOps pipeline; hands-on experience of building automated security controls and remediation. Understanding of Cloud Native networking fundamentals
- Deep expertise in solution architecture including web services, relational and non-relational databases, front-end and/or back-end technologies
- Experience working with highly scalable, performant and mission critical architectures
- Fluent spoken and written English mandatory
