Lead Java Full Stack Developer (Angular) Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Java Full Stack Developer (Angular) to join our energetic team at EPAM. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our MVP, as well as driving future enhancements. The role demands strong proficiency in Java stack development, including database procedures with MS SQL Server.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
- Implement microservices for scalability and maintainability
- Write optimized SQL procedures and maintain MS SQL Server databases
- Collaborate with product owners to clarify requirements and tickets
- Manage version control using Git and Gitflow
- Participate actively in Scrum meetings to ensure quick resolution of blockers
- Ensure compliance with project delivery timelines
- Lead the process for deploying releases of software components
- Maintain documentation of the development process using Jira
- Continuously improve the application by integrating feedback from end-users
Requirements
- Proven experience of 5+ years in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Competency in using Git version control
- Background in implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery using tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of Scrum methodologies
- Qualifications in Spring and Hibernate frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments
- Skills in maintaining Jira and Gitflow
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, minimum level B1+

- Skills in using monitoring tools like Kibana
- Background in using Cloud services
