Senior Salesforce DevOps Description

A Senior Salesforce DevOps professional is needed to be part of our remote team.

The role primarily focuses on release management and continuous integration of Salesforce through Git, Copado, and other DevOps tools that are compatible with Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud.

The Senior Salesforce DevOps professional will interact with different teams such as developers, architects, and QA engineers, with the aim of ensuring seamless delivery of releases while also streamlining and enhancing the efficiency of the release pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the release process to ensure all releases meet quality standards
  • Interacting with cross-functional teams to streamline and enhance release pipeline efficiency
  • Working with stakeholders to identify and prioritize release requirements
  • Creating and maintaining release schedules inclusive of milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
  • Troubleshooting release process-related issues and providing timely solutions
  • Involvement in code reviews to ensure controlled and efficient code release
  • Keeping abreast of the latest Salesforce technologies and trends

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with the Salesforce platform
  • Prior enterprise experience in software consulting is preferred
  • Proven technical skills and experience in creating a streamlined release pipeline
  • Experience with DevOps technologies such as Copado and Git
  • Comprehensive understanding of the core Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  • Availability to work during the EST timezone
  • Proficiency in English, with an Upper-Intermediate level of competency for effective team and stakeholder communication

Nice to have

  • Possession of Salesforce Administrative Certification
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills for client-facing interactions
  • Prior experience with Jenkins
