Responsibilities

• Ensure the performance and reliability of the Azure Cloud infrastructure and associated services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to best practices
• Identify opportunities to optimize activities in the data platforms, support activities, and processes, and implement mechanisms to automate/streamline activities
• Work with the SRE team on the support of the platform, including troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventative measures
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the DevOps process and infrastructure, utilizing your knowledge of Azure Cloud services and industry best practices
• Lead and manage the team of engineers
• Develop and maintain documentation of the infrastructure, processes, and procedures

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• At least 2 years of relevant leadership experience
• Expertise in Azure Cloud services (extended support)
• Proficiency with automation and streamlining activities, including automating administrative activities, infrastructure, and application deployments
• Experience with Azure PowerShell and Terraform
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, architects, and management
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues 
• Proficiency in the English language, with a C1 level of competency 

Nice to have

• Azure DevOps experience
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Synapse Analytics
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks
