We are seeking a dedicated Solution Architect I to join our team.
The ideal candidate will facilitate the adoption of cloud technologies, oversee technical challenges, and lead architecture design to enhance our company's technological capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Create templates for technology teams to easily adopt cloud platforms
- Offer technical advice regarding DevOps best practices to aid in developing DevOps pipelines
- Investigate and assess new technologies, cloud services and potential solutions
- Address technical issues that arise; ensuring resolution includes aspects of virtualization, automation, networking, cloud infrastructure, security, and 3rd party product integration
- Formulate architectural design documents, requirement specifications, network designs, roadmaps, technology maintenance/upgrade lifecycle, execution plans, as well as monitoring, health check validations, recovery plans, and disaster recovery solutions
- Oversee solution rollouts, including requisite monitoring, operational transition, and automation of manual processes
- Collaborate with the Service Operations team to update obsolete appliances, systems, and servers, while planning for future maintenance and upgrades
- Lead efforts on performance and load testing
Requirements
- Azure Architect Professional
- 8+ years in a similar role
- 5+ years hands-on experience in designing and deploying cloud architectures on Azure, focusing on Azure’s IaaS and PaaS components
- Proficiency in API Management Azure service, including configuration, setup, and insights into service capabilities and limitations
- Expertise in API development including creation, logging, characteristics, and information management
- Competency in defining, configuring, and implementing Azure Services for API management
- Background in application solutions
- Previous role as Tech Lead A4, overseeing 4 or 5 engineers
- Solid understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Strong knowledge of various application architecture approaches
- Background in deploying Infrastructure as Code
Nice to have
- Background in C#, Java, and object-oriented development
- Experience in collaborating with Information Security to integrate security early in the development phase
- Familiarity with container management platforms (Mesos, Swarm, Kubernetes) and container runtimes (Docker)
