Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of complex business solutions for large, global organizations
• Build delivery roadmap along with estimations on timeframes and prepare the quality and quantity of resources required to successfully deliver projects
• Ensure process governance in both delivery management and production
• Perform as a single point of contact for all delivery-related matters, including escalations, upsells, and ramp-downs
• Manage the resources needed for delivery and ensure sound skills according to the delivery roadmap
• Establish that there is future-proof architecture planned and that the implementation meets the technical quality standards
• Coordinate between multiple disciplines, functions, and stakeholders
• Lead long-term partnerships with clients & and address client issues while identifying the engagement risks
• Prepare customer proposals and statements of work alongside the account team
• Support sales activities by participating in the bid process and providing technical and management expertise to assist in winning bids
• Monitor agile model and ensure that projects are delivered in line with EPAM processes and methodologies
• Communicate with customers to make sure that they execute their responsibilities for the engagements
• Plan strategy of continuous delivery risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout the delivery life cycle
• Measure and improve delivery productivity while mentoring and coaching other delivery managers
• Contribute to EPAM-wide delivery management community

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering projects within Data and Analytics, Big Data, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence
• Proven history working with data platform engineering such as batch and streaming, ingestion, storage, processing, management, integration, and consumption
• Comfortable gathering and understanding customer business requirements and introducing big data technologies
• Familiar with relevant technological solutions, industry best practices, and data engineering challenges
• Exposure to Big Data technology stacks & and various Data tools, techniques
• Knowledge of Data Mining, Predictive Analytics, Machine learning and Data Visualization
• Strong understanding of classical analytics methods including relevant theories and data-related security challenges
• Highly skilled in various delivery approaches including agile methodologies
• Enjoys interacting with and presenting to both small and large audiences
• Experience with leading on-prem to cloud migration projects within AWS, Azure, and GCP ecosystems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-moving environment
