We are seeking for a Senior Product Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for delivering the best possible client and user experiences to join the rapidly growing Product Management Practice at EPAM LATAM. With your vast expertise in building great products and leading high-performing product management teams, you will be uniquely positioned to drive product management initiatives for our clients. You will be exposed to a variety of opportunities to develop and use your expertise in various aspects of product management, from defining a product strategy and executing on it through product discovery and delivery, to orchestrating product-led organizational transformations and coaching product leaders on product management best practices and tools.
To be successful in this role, you need to have prophet-level customer and stakeholder empathy, be comfortable with ambiguity and ready to influence top-level stakeholders without having authority over them. You need to thrive in a constantly changing environment, be ready to learn fast, think on your feet and make the best decisions with limited information.
Responsibilities
- Be the liaison between EPAM team and the client’s business, IT and product management organizations, fostering a productive and collaborative relationship
- Establish effective collaboration between different roles and practices inside EPAM, including account management, delivery management, design, and business consulting organizations
- Identify, track, and realize business value opportunities for clients. Align the product vision with the company's strategy and business objectives, working closely with client leadership teams
- Develop, manage, and maintain a long-term product roadmap that outlines future releases, initiatives, and capabilities
- Translate business capabilities into target product features
- Recommend and document requirements for product capabilities, supported by market research and regular interaction with clients and customers
- Manage product milestones and effectively communicate them to all relevant stakeholders
- Facilitate and guide discussions between various product stakeholders, promoting understanding of product capabilities, responsibilities, expected outcomes, values, and priorities
- Drive team alignment and buy-in for the overarching Product vision. Conduct product demos and workshops to showcase features and capabilities to stakeholders and users
- Assess competitive products and trends to inform product decisions and positioning
- Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness and success of product releases
- Coach and mentor junior product managers, setting a positive example for team collaboration, problem-solving, and product-centric thinking
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager in the software industry, with demonstrated experience in digital product management. Experience in the consulting services and solutions industry is a plus
- A strategic thinker, with an ability to formulate comprehensive product strategies
- Understanding of market trends and competitive landscape in the product space
- Focused on understanding and delighting the customer and their end users
- Expertise in at least one business domain, demonstrated desire and readiness to learn to navigate new business domains - fast
- Proven ability to influence without authority. Ability to advocate for the best course of action in the face of objections, always keeping the user in mind. Capacity to influence decision-making across a wide variety of roles and levels in the organization
- A proven track record of successfully launching products or key product functionalities to the market
- Strong understanding of how the product management team should be structured to deliver value. Proven experience building and leading successful product management organizations is a strong plus
- Previous experience and demonstrated success working with multiple Agile product development teams. In-depth understanding of the most common Agile software development frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, LeSS, SAFe etc.). Understanding and application of lean principles of rapid build/measure/learn cycles, and a clear comprehension of what creates value
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with strong stakeholder management abilities
- Strong knowledge of product KPIs, ability to derive insights from data and translate them into business requirements
- Proficiency in using product management software and tools
- Experience in mentoring junior product managers or team members is considered a plus
