What You’ll Do
- Design and implement sustainable and modern delivery pipelines according to CI/CD standards and in compliance with all relevant data protection concerns (DevSecOps)
- Design and implement release management and DevSecOps practices according to the blue/green or canary release patterns
- Build and lead a SAFe System Team with highly motivated experts to enable continuous exploration, continuous innovation, continuous deployment, and release on demand
- Ensure a smooth transition of the software components through the different stages including production with the relevant testing, documentation, and reporting activities
- Act as a coach to the development teams to ensure, that they are fully aware of the constraints and options they have due to the service offerings of the system/ release management team
- Drive for continuous improvement of the processes and the tool landscape for innovation, issue tracking, source code management, artifact repository, quality assurance, deployment and release
- Create and adapt relevant training content for current and future employees in the field
- Coordinate with operations, for a sustainable well thought out DevSecOps pipeline
- Drive the organization towards a lean and agile mindset according to SAFe and SCRUM
- Ideally experience with organizations in the public sector
Requirements
- Practical work experience as Release Manager in an agile DevSecOps environment
- Deep knowledge in the required tools and their management to maintain a highly productive software development organization of several hundred people
- Thorough understanding of integration, deployment and test processes and patterns across various stages
- Experience in governance and quality control responsibilities as well as in the determination of the risk level and complexity of changes to the solution
- Experience in the secure mastery of complete technology stacks and the identification of interrelationships and dependencies from its structure
- Experience in the creation and documentation of a version history with full traceable release notes
- Experience and understanding in modern lean and agile software development processes according to SAFe
- Full proficiency in German and English (C1 or higher)
- You’ll be expected to work on client site ~30% of the time
