We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to collaborate with global IT teams and provide support on cloud migration journey as well as engineer common, re-usable solutions that can be used to accelerate cloud adoption across the organization
You’ll be working in the Investment IT Architecture Center Of Excellence Engineering team based in London and Krakow. Our role is to provide IB Technology teams with oversight, support, and solutions to implement a strategic architecture on public cloud services. We help by sharing the architecture vision, working with teams on their solution design, creating code samples and documentation, and ensuring that the developer experience of migrating to the cloud within the organization is easy and enticing.

What You’ll Do
- Apply the best development and DevOps practices and effectively utilize technologies
- Foster a collaborative work environment, actively engaging with teams across the organization
- Resolve complex issues by applying elegant and pragmatic problem-solving techniques
- Write high-quality, reusable code while adhering to established coding standards
- Create professional, clear, and comprehensive documentation to facilitate seamless knowledge transfer and understanding
What You Have
- Solid background in development using a language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Go
- CI/CD including tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitLab etc
- Containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms
- Infrastructure-as-code, using tools such as Terraform, ARM or CloudFormation
- Scripting languages including Windows PowerShell, Bash etc
- GitHub or similar, contributing to open-source projects
- Agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban)
- DevOps practices and the value of automation
