What You’ll Do

• Design and implement data testing strategy considering system architecture and data flows
• Plan and estimate required resources for data product/flow testing and validation based on standards
• Develop data quality framework aligned with data product strategy, defining critical data, controls, quality targets, thresholds, and alerts
• Collaborate closely with data quality and data governance stakeholders, advocating for data quality within projects/organizations
• Design and implement automated data quality checks
• Serve as a subject matter expert in data testing, data quality, and data governance
• Champion data quality within the organization/project and foster inclusive teamwork

What You Have

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a data quality engineer in the data and analytics domain
• Solid knowledge of testing, data quality, and data governance, with a data-oriented mindset
• Good knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Spark and Kafka
• Strong communication skills, including managing customer expectations and taking responsibility for deliverables
• Ability to perform data wrangling, data masking and create valid test datasets
• Good experience in:
  • SQL knowledge (ANSI and flavors)
  • Modern SDLC practices for data processing
  • Data ingestion pipeline concepts and data technologies such as OLTP databases, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, and DWBI tools
  • Data pipelines, ETL and Data Visualization
  • Programming languages like Python, with knowledge of Bash scripting being a plus
  • Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) in terms of storage, computing and networking
  • CI / CD principles and tools like Jenkins
