We are looking for a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join our EPAM team. In this role, you will be responsible for transitioning machine learning algorithms to the production environment and integration with the enterprise ecosystem.
Please note that this position requires relocation to Georgia, Armenia, Turkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan or Kyrgyzstan.

What You’ll Do
- Design, create, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the complete end-to-end machine learning life cycle
- Integrate with enterprise ecosystem/IoT devices/Mobile devices
- Write specifications, documentation, and user guides for developed solutions
- Build frameworks for data scientists to accelerate the development of production-grade machine learning models
- Aid In the improvement of SDLC practices
- Establish and configure CI/CD/CT processes
- Design and maintain ML models’ continuous training
- Provide capabilities for early detection of various drifts (data, concept, schema., etc.)
- Continuously identify technical risks and gaps, devise mitigation strategies
What You Have
- 5+ years of expertise in Enterprise Software Development
- 5+ years of solid background in Machine Learning
- Experience with designing, building and deploying production applications and data pipelines
- Background in the development of ML-driven applications and systems
- Deep knowledge of Python ML ecosystem (PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, Pandas, Sklearn, XGBoost) and Python development
- Hands-on experience in the implementation of Data Products and different data processing paradigms (batch, micro-batch, streaming)
- Understanding of Apache Spark Ecosystem (Spark SQL, MLlib/Spark ML)
- Deep hands-on experience with the implementation of SDLC best practices in complex IT projects
- Familiarity with automated data pipeline and workflow management tools (Airflow)
- Knowledge of computer science disciplines such as data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
- Production experience in integrating ML models into complex data-driven systems/IoT devices/Mobile devices

- The MLOps related platforms/technology such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI / AI Platform, Databricks MLFlow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Argo Workflow, TensorFlow Extended (TFX), etc
- Software engineering tools (CI/CD environments such as Jenkins or Buildkit, PyPi, Docker, Kubernetes)
- The infrastructures as a code (IoC) framework (Terraform/CDK TF, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation / AWS CDK)
