We are looking for a motivated Software Testing Engineer in Ho Chi Minh City to develop our Vietnam quality team. We have many upcoming opportunities with global brand-name clients for high-profile projects that require someone with excellent technical delivery skills and management capabilities. This role is highly flexible; your overall goal is to ensure a high-degree of quality in the software that we produce.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression) through manual and automated means
  • Analyze user stories and requirements for validity and feasibility
  • Communicate with foreign colleagues and clients
  • Execute and develop automation testing scripts using available tools
  • Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
  • Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
  • Be a supporting team member. Attend, receive and contribute to training, coaching, recruitment and technical interviewing
  • Follow all applicable development processes and methodologies. These may be part of internal policies, applicable international standards, applicable regulatory requirements and/or specific team processes

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of Software Testing
  • Able to follow and enhance test automation process from scratch with supervision
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and Scrum framework
  • Experience with test and requirement management system (JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence...)
  • Basic understanding of API, database, networking and IT infrastructure
  • Skilled with cross-functional thinking and problem solving
  • Understand or exposure to fixed-time delivery process and execution
  • Upper intermediate (CEFR B2) or higher level of spoken and written English
  • University degree in Software Engineering, Software Quality or equivalent

Nice to have

  • Test Automation experience in software development language (Java, .NET, JavaScript, Python, etc) or automation platform (Katalon Studio, Robot Framework, Cucumber, JDI Light)
  • Experience working in Financial sector
  • Experience with; Embedded Software, Mobile Applications, Microservices
  • Familiarity with other automation tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Resolve.io
  • Ability to communicate in Russian, Mandarin or Japanese
