DESCRIPTION


Services client in London. We work on several different projects in a real mix of sectors. This requirement is primarily based onsite with a longstanding EPAM customer. It is an excellent opportunity is being part of something huge, a long standing digital transformation working with cutting edge technologies in the Financial Services space.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Project Requirements from documentation and workshops
  • Requirements Analysis – Translate complex software design requirements to create tests
  • Identify tests required for Functional Testing [manual and automated]
  • Design and/or refine test scenarios or use cases based on stakeholder feedback
  • Define and refine test cases in Jira X-Ray or Microsoft Excel [for upload to X-Ray]
  • Define tests such that they effectively test for functional compliance to requirements
  • Perform Testing Effort Forecasting and Estimation
  • Automate existing manual tests – or create new automated tests - for regression testing
  • Execute [manual and automated] test cases and provide evidence [using a variety of tools including HP UFT, Selenium
  • Functional Testing
  • Undertake regression pack reviews and updates with key stakeholders
  • Identify and track defects from manual and automated testing
  • As part of scrum team will report daily on test execution – including appropriate escalation of issues found

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Test Analysis and Test Execution
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Automated Test Design, Planning and Execution
  • Working Knowledge working knowledge of JIRA, and HP UFT
  • Working Knowledge working knowledge of Selenium / Cucumber or similar tools
  • Working Knowledge working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Project and PowerPoint
  • Good experience of working within SCRUM or KANBAN structure
  • ISTQB Foundation – or equivalent professional qualification
  • Preferred Degree in numerical or financial subject preferred
  • Structured yet pragmatic in approach to work
  • Able to plan and execute testing with minimal supervision
  • A team player who enjoys collaboration
  • Able to take ownership of the QA tasks and support the teams mission

Nice to have

  • Experienced in testing within a Banking & Financial Services environment
  • Experienced in writing tests with Java
