We are looking for an experienced Data Architect who has both: deep knowledge of the database domain and AWS Data Platform (or GCP or Azure) to join Data unit. In this role, you will be advising customers on how to build modern solutions using AWS Data Platform (or GCP or Azure).


  • Bring architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution architectures that meet operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability and manageability
  • Organize and lead research and development efforts (proofs of concept, prototypes), as BI architect / subject matter expert
  • Participate in various phases of the SDLC to ensure that proposed technical and solution architectures are in line with approved by customer technology standards and project specific architectural requirements
  • Conduct expert technical / design review of existing/legacy architecture and new solution(s) built by the project team
  • Ensure that technology solutions are production ready and meet the defined specifications, and that the solution can be maintained via production support methodologies and resources
  • Deliver expertise in the domain of architecture reviews to ensure adherence to the corporate technical architecture standards and best practices
  • Serve as technical expert and point of contact for BI domain specific solutions


  • 12+ years of experience in designing and developing data solutions both: on prem and in cloud
  • Deep knowledge of one of the databases: PostgreSQL. Oracle, MS SQL Server, Sybase, DB2, etc. is required
  • Good familiarity with Aurora, DynamoDB and Redshift
  • Knowledge of AWS Data Platform stack: Data Lake, Kinesis, Lambda, S3, Redshift, QuickInsight
  • Familiarity with AWS services and prior experience designing software solution
  • + Snowflake experience in either AWS (preferred) or Azure
  • + ELT/ETL experience loading data into Snowflake. "Cloud" tools are preferable
  • Ability to create clear, detailed and concise documentation: architecture diagrams, presentations and design documents
  • Experience working with distributed teams to provide technical guidance and leadership
  • Prior experience in tech. consulting roles is a must
  • Excellent English communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience relevant to GCP and Azure are applicable as well (not only AWS as detailed in the Requirements)
