    Who are we looking for?

    Java Software Engineer

    • 2+ years in Java 8 development of applications and enterprise systems;
    • Intermediate or higher English level (B1+)
    • AWS technology stack;
    • Hibernate / JPA;
    • REST services;
    • Good understanding of Java core;

     

    • Familiarity with testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito or AssertJ;
    • Profound knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle;
    • Strong troubleshooting, debugging and logging experience;
    • Hand-on experience in Git;
    • Team player.
    • Intermediate or higher English level (B1+);
    • Spring technology stack;
    • Oracle;
    • *NIX systems;
    • CI/CD principles;
    • Microservice architecture;
    • Docker / Kubernetes;
    • ElasticSearch.

    Our client is a global provider of financial markets data and infrastructure with operational headquarters in London, UK. 

    The company has an annual turnover of $6,000,000,000 with more than 40,000 client companies. The company runs more than 130 fintech data, analytics, trading, and risk assessment tools.

    ABOUT THE PROJECTS

    The account has multiple projects that unite hundreds of our employees under one of the largest accounts in EPAM. Projects aim for a feature development, re-engineering and enhancing the existing core features for client’s risk intelligence applications, data-as-a-service (DaaS) applications and rich JavaScript-based applications. 

    The typical project team composition includes Java Developers of various seniorities, a Business Analyst, a Scrum Master, and Automation QA Engineers. Optionally, a project might get support from a Solution Architect and other roles, which are required for the productive delivery of a product.
