Senior Java Developer Description
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to collaborate with a dynamic cross-functional scrum team as part of a dedicated business capability POD.
This role focuses on developing backend solutions using proficiency in Java and Spring Framework to support business operations effectively.

Responsibilities
- Building, refining, and maintaining the Java codebase
- Designing and creating back-end microservices and REST APIs
- Ensuring robust software functionality through inclusive unit testing
- Performing code reviews to uphold strong quality standards
- Encouraging best practices such as unit testing and continuous integration
- Taking an active role in SCRUM ceremonies to enhance teamwork
- Offering input during estimation and planning sessions for project alignment
- Guiding and mentoring team members with technical expertise
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
- Competency in building APIs along with understanding microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and ReactJS
- Familiarity with Java Messaging and cloud platforms
- Background in financial services or wealth management is beneficial but not mandatory
- Upper-intermediate English proficiency (B2+)
Nice to have
- Knowledge of financial services industry protocols
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Microsoft Azure
