What You’ll Do

  • We’re looking for someone like that to help us:
    • Develop technical and functional enhancements to Asset Management's Fixed Income IT platform
    • Work closely with end users to help shape solutions that meet their needs
    • Reduce complexity and improve stability/supportability of the platform
    • Share best practice and look at ways to improve the way we deliver software
    • Provide Level 3 support as required by the team
  • Rresponsible for developing and maintaining a fully integrated platform for Fixed Income Portfolio/Modelling/Construction/Optimization
  • The team works in a flat structure and interacts closely with other business counterparts in Asset Management
  • The platform technology stack used is Winforms/WPF, WCF and SQL Server Database


  • BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
  • Excellent core C#/.NET (framework v3.5+) with strong experience in object oriented programming and Test Driven Development principles
  • Strong and recent experience with MS SQL is a must
  • Recent experience in the development of all tiers of an enterprise application: GUI (Winforms/WPF), Services (WCF), messaging (TIBCO or MQ) and data integration
  • Experience improving older code bases as well as in using modern design patterns
  • Experience of code-reviewing, unit testing and continuous integration
  • Experience of working in a Scrum or Kanban framework with User Stories as the primary method of requirements capture
  • Self-driven and pro-active, a good team player
  • An excellent communicator, with a passion for cross group collaboration, being able to discover solutions to problems and objectively defend them, and propose design alternatives and articulate pros and cons

Nice to have

  • A proven track record in successfully building, releasing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise systems in a complex technology environment – preferably within a major Global Asset Manager or Investment Banking Group
  • Experience of in memory database solutions
