EPAM Data Practice is looking for Data Technology Consultant, who can help our customers create information strategies, design best-in-class data platforms, and support data-driven transformation of customer enterprises. We are passionate about delivering value from data and are searching for people with the same mindset to join our team.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage consulting engagements, overall delivery and the quality of the output
  • Build and manage customer relationships
  • Plan required elicitation/discovery activities to engage both business and IT stakeholders
  • Design and drive stakeholder workshops/interviews to define and prioritize their strategic and immediate needs
  • Own and actively contribute to the project consulting deliverables, such as vision statements, assessment deck, roadmaps, etc
  • Work in close collaboration with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to design the architecture that should address strategic business needs, assessing options
  • Drive presale activities
  • Contribute to data competency best practice materials. Mentor others

Requirements

  • 5+ years of total experience in data and analytics domain, 2+ years on project/program leading roles
  • Experience in working with senior business and IT stakeholders, as well as end-users
  • Solid knowledge of the data and analytics landscape and recent trends
  • Experience in end-to-end data and analytics project delivery as part of the team (for example, data lake, DWH, advanced analytics solutions, BI/reporting, etc.)
  • Ability to take ownership for the end result, and to manage others to get there
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to manage customer expectations, present and explain project deliverables to senior stakeholders
  • English level: C1+

Nice to have

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with one or more data and analytics technologies
  • Knowledge of one or more business domains
  • Experience building data and analytics organizations (center of excellence, data engineering pools, data science teams, etc.)
  • Experience running on-site customer workshops
  • Experience in pre-sales activities

  • This position operates in a remote capacity, but you must live within driving distance to an EPAM office. Your recruiter will discuss specific details about work location during the initial interview process
