As a Lead UI Designer, you will be responsible for designing engaging digital experiences for a wide range of clients. You will use creativity and visualisation methods to best tell a story in an effective and cohesive way.
The lead role will span all sectors but will focus predominantly on medical and financial projects. You will be working within a team of other design practitioners but will lead the UI stream, advising and collaborating with UX/IX designers, and mentoring junior visual designers.

  • Lead the visual design stream on projects
  • Work closely with the client and project team to produce UI design solutions through concepts and high-fidelity prototypes
  • Adhere to, and create, design libraries
  • Identify and troubleshoot UI/UX problems
  • Effectively document and hand off designs to engineers and other creative partners
  • Multi-task and prioritize while designing components for various projects
  • Advise clients on brand and visual design strategy
  • Build on internal designs assets and support other cross-functional teams with your expertise
  • Mentor junior visual designers


  • Proven track record (at least 8 years of relevant professional experience) and strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visual designs
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic or Visual Design, Interaction design or HCI or similar
  • Experience leading projects with a high level of complexity
  • Knowledge of visual design principles, charting tools and visualization techniques
  • Experience producing high fidelity UI screens for production
  • Passionate about data visualization and telling a story through design
  • Problem solving mentality - driven to solve business and user needs
  • Collaborative can-do attitude with ability to work in an agile team
  • Ability to prototype using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure preferred
  • Ability to adherence to medical device and other standards and guidelines
  • Experience mentoring juniors is a plus
  • Experience in financial industry a plus
  • Consultancy experience is a plus
  • English is mandatory, German is a plus
