We are looking for an experienced In-Company EFL Instructor in Suzhou to make the team stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for instruction and materials design for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) courses for non-native English speakers, with focus on the Business and Intercultural Communication
  • Provide written and verbal communication of student progress
  • Participate in corporate language assessment process, program review
  • Act as a leader for extracurricular student activities
  • Interact professionally with all internal customers using strong interpersonal skills
  • Work evenings if required

Requirements

  • A degree-qualified and experienced native or non-native English language trainer
  • Required qualification: bachelor’s degree in TESOL, English or Applied Linguistics, or a certificate in language teaching (e.g., CELTA, TESOL)
  • Preference will be given to candidates that have three (3) years of experience working with EFL students in a workplace or educational setting
  • An excellent command of the latest communicative and student-centered ELT approaches and methods in face-to-face & online teaching
  • Experience in conducting online group lessons using communicative and student-centered methods of teaching
  • Desire for ongoing learning, professional development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong service-orientation
  • Ability to work independently and good team spirit
  • Discretion with confidential material
