What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development of proposals and design of highly-available, scalable commerce and fulfillment solutions
  • Work closely with the client stakeholders (IT, Business and Management) to identify solution requirements; validate the architecture and support implementation activities
  • Lead implementation of the solution from establishing  project requirements and solution architecture to production "go-live"
  • Provide oversight to the development teams and provide technical help and support where needed
  • Review and audit of existing solution, design, and system architecture

What You Have

  • Leadership and communications:
    • Proactive approach and leadership in architecture engagement
    • Experience in customer site assignments
  • Strong communications skills:
    • Ability to communicate message to customer representatives, listen and manage their concerns
    • Ability to direct and lead development team
    • Fluent English
  • Practical experience:
    • 7+ years’ experience in hands-on development of highly-available Digital solutions; preferably based on SAP Commerce or other major platform
    • 3+ years' experience in team leadership/project management and direct customer communications
    • Experience in fulfillment/warehouse solutions a benefit
  • Development background:
    • Strong development background, preferably with Java platforms with a wide breadth of experience and interest in other technology domains including Javascript/Node.js, Web application frameworks, Mobile applications, Cloud-native technologies (Serverless)
  • Solution architecture:
    • Expertise in solution architecture and strong understanding of the enterprise architecture
    • Solution cross-cutting concerns/qualities (security, monitoring, caching, etc)
    • E2E Web application architectures (from CDN, Infrastructure to enterprise system integration)
    • Microservices architecture
    • Scalable, high-performance, mission critical architecture designs
    • Integration Patterns
    • Change management
