DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a Senior Java / JavaScript Developer for our Krakow office.

The team consists currently of 5 engineers strong. We are taking over step by step their internally developed tools to maintain or expand these solutions. In the future we will also build new tools from scratch with them. You get the chance to be the first EPAMer to join this team which we will expand to 5-10 people in the next year. We are looking for a Java/JS engineer, no need to cover all the technologies below.

The managers are based in California. They are very friendly, reliable, clear and clean in how they communicate or create documents.

Requirements

  • Web app development:
    • Backend: Java
    • Frontend: mixture of JavaScript (some AngularJS) and TypeScript (Angular)
  • Data pipelines:
    • Most connect first party and third party software
    • Java
    • Jobs are hosted on Borg, most are cron jobs
  • Chrome extension development:
    • Using JavaScript, including Closure
    • Integrated with Google Analytics
  • QA / Testing:
    • Writing unit tests and using TAP
    • Using testing frameworks like Jasmine, gjstest, and mock objects
  • Google App Engine:
    • App deployment and management
    • APIs: Cloud Endpoints
    • Data: Cloud SQL, BigStore, BigQuery
  • Database management
  • BUILD files

  • Google3 source control (Piper)
  • Google3 build system (Blaze)
  • Code Search
  • Code reviews in Critique
  • One SWORD WSE reviewer + (optional) readability approver
  • IDE for development, preferred Cider
