DESCRIPTION


To our organization in Poland we are looking for an expert in Software Testing with very wide and deep experience in Testing, Quality, Processes, Clients relationship. This is a Lead++ role with a key focus on technology, expertise, and clients. In this role you will be a part of SWAT team who supports organization with expertise and knowledge in Architecture and Test Automation, you will start new projects, lead opportunities, prepare complex automation strategies and solutions, show how to address challenges, mentor/teach lead/senior engineers, participate in pre-sales and POCs etc. If Automation, Architecture, Quality is what you love – join our team and be among top experts.

Responsibilities

  • Be a part of top experts as a part of SWAT team
  • Jump in different opportunities to start, optimize, settle test automation related work
  • Participate in discovery phases of projects as an expert/consultant
  • Lead different teams and set up effective automation solutions to achieve delivery goals
  • Be the main point of contact for clients on challenging projects
  • Prepare documents and presentations for different projects and opportunities
  • Participate in pre-sale activities, POCs, case-studies
  • Constantly learn and be up to date with all modern technologies, tools, approaches in Test Automation and Architecture
  • Teach/Mentor lead and senior test engineers

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in IT with main part in Automated Testing
  • Advanced level in at least 1 business domain
  • Experience in setting up test automation strategy for different domains and projects (T&M and Fixed-Price)
  • Expert level of knowledge in Test Automation (frameworks, tools, approaches)
  • Strong knowledge of at least 2 programming languages (including 1 scripting language). Preferred ones are: Java, C# .NET, JS
  • Strong knowledge of architecture and ability to suggest different automation solutions based on architecture specifics
  • Expert in CI/CD and devOps practices/tools
  • Able to suggest and implement efficient KPI for automation
  • Strong presentation skill: ability to conceptually visualize things and deliver presentation to professional audience
  • Understands technology trends in IT industry and Test Automation
  • Proven experience of creating high-quality Automation Strategies that were accepted by clients (addressing risks, architecture, domain specifics, limitations, business goals)
  • Experience in driving test automation activities (on all levels up to deploy on production and support)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to address domain-specific topics with clients
  • Experience of coordinating project activities or a certain project part. Primary responsible person for all testing activities and their results on a project of 1-2 scrum teams
  • Establishes communication between testers and other project team members Lead and collaborate with Project Teams, Business Systems Analysts, and other QA Leads, to create, drive and communicate the overall test strategy
  • Driving communication in the most efficient way: clear, short, polite, persuasive
  • Constructive approach to someone else's opinion. Can setup a friendly relationship to customer and team members, can solve narrow issues without escalations. Adjusts own communication according to the cultural context
  • Perfect communication skills in English
  • Readiness for business trips (when COVID is over of course)
  • Proven proactivity and leadership skills
