We are looking for a motivated Agile Coach in Hong Kong to contribute to the team as a professional consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Expected to train teams, attend various daily agile events from teams, baseline each team maturity and run regular project health check
  • Contribute in evolving the Agility Framework in Confluence based on feedback received by their teams
  • Coach, train and guide people in the dedicated team organization to follow the agreed ways of working
  • Identify gaps in processes, individuals knowledge and experience and proactively call them out and propose enhancement initiatives
  • Along the identified gaps or areas of improvement work closely together with the specific individuals in order to enable them following the same routines without supervision once the coach is not there
  • Guide and help the team to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation plans and communicate project risks to client and senior management
  • Analyze application requirements provided by client in order to understand the application vision to support the project team for a functional perspective
  • Assist the team to work with developers on interpreting requirements, supervising development process, ensuring work and quality are up to client’s expectation and reviewing final deliverables
  • Ensure all product deliverables are satisfied with client (architecture, design documents, test cases, etc.) based on the preferred methodology
  • Perform technical / functional review and analysis, prepare internal and external documentation, and work closely with client to drive project results
  • Work on new initiatives and legacy applications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or related subject, Master’s degree or overseas education background is preferred
  • Good understanding of Scrum, Kanban and SAFe principles and practical implementations
  • Work without supervision, report clearly to management about progress and have the right attitude in order to resolve blockers/impediments discovered with the process or individuals
  • Solid knowledge about Software Development Lifecycle and Software Engineering Process, project management standards and practices
  • Hands on experience in delivering product/project in Agile Environment (Scrum is preferable)
  • Hands on and guide the various agile teams, and agile projects to be kicked off towards a successful adoption of agility framework
  • Able to organize and manage a project team, identify, analyze and properly respond to project risks
  • Has knowledge and able to develop and maintain project artefacts
  • Able to lead and engage people in a conversation, moderate small and large meetings
  • Has the ability to conduct public speaking within large groups, solid skills in preparing slide decks and visual materials
  • Able to identify stakeholders’ interests, priorities and expectations in the requirements
  • Communicate to stakeholders, execute and manage changes in the stakeholder management plan
  • Upper Intermediate (CEFR B2) or higher level of verbal and written English

Nice to have

  • Good understanding with Agile methodologies
  • 2 years of agile coaching experience is preferred
