What You’ll Do

  • Create Java back-end implementation
  • Design and build scalable framework for web applications
  • Ensure data and algorithm integrity throughout process
  • Collaborate with Developers in an Agile environment
  • Design and develop cutting edge applications
  • Respond to mission-critical software problems in a rapid and high-quality fashion
  • Responsible for CI/CD pipelines
  • Work with defect tracking, source code control and software release systems to ensure high-quality software releases over time

What You Have

  • BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software design, development, and testing
  • Strong Java development skills
  • Strong knowledge of Spring framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under general direction and to be a team player as well
  • Dedication to keeping abreast of emerging technology trends
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with backend RDBMS and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with design and creation database schema and SQL queries
  • Experience troubleshooting real-time production issues with applications/REST API’s
  • Experience in how to follow, adhere to, and enhance a Software Development Methodology (Agile)

  • This position operates in a remote capacity, but you must live within driving distance to an EPAM office. Your recruiter will discuss specific details about work location during the initial interview process
