DESCRIPTION


Our customer exposes an API for other businesses to be able to access risks associated with a person, e.g. understand their credit score. Behind the scene, there is a sophisticated decisioning system and large data volumes. Currently, the back end of this API has the number of legacy versions, serving hundreds of clients, with individual installations for most clients.

The project team is going to re-platform their internal systems, move everything to GCP, build data and service platform to support new customer/increase speed to market.

Requirements

  • Expertise in one programming paradigm OOP or Functional
  • 3+ years of experience in one programming language from the list: Python, Golang, JavaScript
  • Readiness to learn and work with multiple languages Python, Golang, JavaScript, Terraform, Helm
  • Experience of working with at least one cloud provider from the list: AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Experience in Docker
  • Experience of working with CI/CD practices and tools like Git, Jenkins, Nexus
  • Familiarity with testing automation theory and frameworks
  • Experience in Linux
  • Strong knowledge of Bash shell
  • Good understanding of Terraform
  • Experience in Helm
  • Experience in Kubernetes
  • Experience in working with Network (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Firewalls, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile development practices like Scrum, Kanban and tools like Jira, Confluence
  • Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B1+)

Nice to have

  • Experience in JupyterHub, JupyterLab, Jupyter Notebook
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, ReactJS and other front-end frameworks
  • Understanding of ML tools, such as: Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Spark MLlib
