We are looking for a motivated IT Infrastructure Architect in Zürich to make the team stronger.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in on-boarding and analysis of work for infrastructure and security clients
  • Leads the design and review process of the security and infrastructure architecture for new systems
  • Create the roadmap towards the architecture target working across IT department
  • Work from business requirements and work out the details plan of implementation aligned with the architecture target
  • Evaluate the new system integrated, identify the best practice and lesson learned
  • Provide comprehensive IT onsite support service to customer
  • Manage the overall IT security controls
  • Lead the remote teams to collaboratively resolve service and technical issues
  • Work with the management team to complete all other assigned duties, tasks or projects
  • Review local IT infrastructure to ensure compliance/security requirements are fully achieved

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of both physical infrastructure (on-premises servers, network equipment) and cloud services and how these can complement each other
  • Deep understanding of cloud services: AWS, Azure, GoogleCloud
  • Rich experience with Office 365
  • Experience of project management
  • Experience with web technologies and building enterprise architecture roadmaps
  • Experience designing, integrating and managing complex infrastructure solutions
  • Solid knowledge of client-server networking and database management
  • Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Identity Management solutions and Multi-factor authentication offerings
  • Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine overall design direction and provide hardware recommendations for complex technical issues
  • Experience planning and developing support processes and adhering to best practices
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
  • Solid knowledge of Windows client & MS office application
  • Hands on experience with network infrastructure; experience with Palo Alto is a plus
  • Experience with Antivirus and Antispyware tools
  • Familiar with information security standards (e.g. ISO 27001/ ISAE 3402) and mainstream security controls (e.g. CCTV/AACS)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Upper intermediate (CEFR B2) or higher level of spoken and written English
  • Background in financial field is a plus
