As a System Cloud Architect, you will be tasked with partnering with systems and product owners to understand requirements and working with developers to design and implement solutions. The Cloud Architect is the ‘go-to-person' for cloud related solutions and will be responsible for designing end to end cloud architectures, defining cloud migration strategies, building scalable and resilient cloud architecture, systems integrations and re-engineering.


  • Build templates that can be utilized by technology teams to simplify their adoption of cloud platforms
  • Research and evaluate new technologies, cloud offerings and solutions
  • Provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices supporting development of DevOps pipelines
  • Take the lead on technical escalations and drive incidents/problems until resolution which may involve virtualization, automation, networking, cloud infrastructure, security and integration with 3rd party products
  • Develop architectural design documents, requirements, network designs, roadmaps, technology maintenance/upgrade lifecycle, execution plans, monitoring and health checks validations, recovery plan, roll back plans, DR solutions, etc
  • Lead solutions rollout; define required monitoring, transition to operations and automate manual processes as much possible
  • Work with the Service Operations team to upgrade outdated appliances, systems and servers. Lead and plan future upgrades and maintenances
  • Lead performance and load testing efforts


  • 8+ years of related work experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud architectures design and deployment on AWS or Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Java and object-oriented development experience
  • Solid understanding of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model
  • Strong knowledge of a broad range of application architecture approaches
  • Experience in Infrastructure as a Code deployment
  • Experience in working with Information Security to establish secure development approach that considers security aspects earlier in the development process
  • Experience in container management platforms (Mesos, Swarm, and Kubernetes) and container runtimes (Docker)
