ABOUT PROJECT


Our client is the leading content creator for the land-based, online, and social gaming markets.

The Java Developer will be joining a team of top server engineers that design and build the heart of games and product platform. The right candidate will be challenged to help to transform current solution via adoption and application of the latest in the Server side, Big Data and AI technology, such as high scalable cloud-based infrastructure, stream analysis and machine learning.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in various platform creation activities: design, implementation, etc.; collaborate with stakeholders and architects
  • Have a chance to make architectural suggestions and decisions, involving both platform components creation and integration
  • Constantly improve current system bearing in mind low latency requirements and growing infrastructure

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Java 8+, Guice / Dropwizard / Gradle
  • Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL / Cassandra / Hazelcast)
  • Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka) and automation deployments (Docker / Kubernetes / Jenkins / GCP)
  • Strong knowledge of concurrency multithreading
  • Knowledge/understanding of distributed systems building principles: microservices, scalability, messaging, streaming, distributed databases
  • Expertise with RESTful APIs concepts
  • Ability to design system components from scratch and write clean code following best practices
