DESCRIPTION


Our client is the national airline of Ireland, founded in 1936. It operates 62 aircraft on routes to destinations in the UK, Europe and North America and carry 12 million guests annually. The company is a member of International Airlines Group (IAG), one of the world's largest airline groups.

On this role, you will have an opportunity to join a dedicated team working on company’s services migration to the new platform. No shifts schedule is expected on this position.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day operational support of customer's environments (prod/non-prod) running in AWS
  • Leading small team (2-5 people)
  • Ensuring SLA and response time on tickets
  • Working closely with customer team and communication to management
  • Working on improvements in monitoring, logging and otherwise improving overall stability of the system

Requirements

  • 4+ years in IT overall, hands-on experience in systems engineering
  • Proactivity and self-driven approach, ability to take responsibility over tasks or issues and get-things-done mindset
  • Experience in supporting production and non-production environments
  • Experience with JVM, JBoss/Tomcat; ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Understanding of public cloud concept and configuration management
  • Experience in and understanding of load balancing, high availability
  • Experience with Ansible or other configuration management tool
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience with AWS, experience with Terraform/CloudFormation will be a plus
  • Upper-intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English (B2/C1)
