What You’ll Do

  • Reside in the enterprise wide Data Analytics Center advising groups on best practices and standards
  • Consulting solution teams in the implementation of PowerBI based solutions and participating in some implementations
  • Advising on configuration of platform capabilities and components
  • Summarize performance results and findings and communicate actionable recommendations to stakeholders
  • Addressing data quality issues, such as data gaps or biases in underlying data sets, as well as their impact on reporting capabilities
  • Delivers insights - objectively deliver insights and help create a culture of data-driven decision making, in a timely manner
  • Communicate results; identify successes, failures, trends, and projections
  • Able to analyze results, interpret and communicate the results and findings to the business
  • Will be responsible for managing the processes associated with data acquisition, data on-boarding and data tracking and reporting within Power BI

What You Have

  • A degree in an associated field and/or other advanced certification along with significant experience
  • Need to connect, cleanse, maintain, report on and analyze data used by business groups. Some of the Data sources includes OneDrive, SharePoint, Excel, Azure data sources etc
  • Should be able to perform Basic and Advanced level transformations, apply business rules and change data formats to support visualizations
  • Should have good experience in writing Power Queries using “M” and also in DAX functions
  • Should be able to create and optimize data models, create calculated columns, calculated tables and measures
  • Should be able to create hierarchies and create/format interactive visualizations
  • Should be able to manage custom reporting solutions and should have some experience in configuring Microsoft Power BI Embedded
  • Should be able to configure dashboards, reports and Apps in power BI Service
  • Should be able to publish and embed reports in Power BI service, configure security and apps workspaces
  • Should have Experience in implementing Power BI Row Level Security
  • Should have Experience in implementing Power BI Mobile reporting
  • Good knowledge of Alteryx tool (Designer, Server and Gallery). Should be able to develop and maintain workflows
  • Should be able to write formulas and calculations as per the requirement in Alteryx workflow
  • Should be able to develop macros (Batch, Iterative, etc.) in Alteryx
