EPAM Ukraine is inviting Hybris Lead/Architect to join its growing Hybris practice. Based in Ukraine as a Hybris Solution Architect, you will help EPAM clients solve critical business needs by building upon the SAP Hybris platform. This position will require advanced technical depth and experience, leadership and multifaceted client interaction skills. You will be involved in the full project lifecycle from analysis and planning to development and deployment, as well as assisting with pre-sales opportunities. You will leverage leading-edge platforms to implement large-scale e-commerce solutions.

Purpose of the role: Design a solution architecture within the wider context of the platform and third-party ecosystem; Provide technical guidance/governance to the development team during implementation.

  • Extend the SAP Hybris Platform to meet client requirements
  • Develop solutions and document customizations for commercial products to meet the client's requirements
  • Participation in customer’s workshops and presentation of the proposed solution
  • Perform analysis of E-commerce tools, 3rd party platform integration, and environmental infrastructure
  • Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences
  • Review and audit of an existing solution, design, and system architecture
  • Perform profiling and troubleshooting of existing solutions
  • Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design
  • Create documentation for requirements analysis and design specifications
  • Mentor peers and lead technical implementation teams
  • Travel to client sites as needed


  • Strong experience in software design, systems integration, and development
  • Ability to establish solid working relationships with clients and to work effectively as a member of a dynamic, distributed team
  • Multi-projects experience architecting Hybris applications
  • Experience in e-commerce development
  • Experience in integration, cloud-based architecture, build and deployment utilities, and best coding practices of Hybris Java technologies
  • Experience in JEE, Spring framework and multi-tier architecture
  • In-depth knowledge of various client side, server side, and database performance optimizations
  • Experience with omnichannel solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation and planning skills
  • Fluent spoken and written English (В2 and higher)
