Currently we are looking for a talented and motivated PHP Developer for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.

Are you a software developer and would like to see your work being consumed by millions of people every day? Are you interested in new web technologies and pushing performance to its limits?

The ideal candidate has a strong object-oriented programming background and a passion for scalability, reliability and code reuse. The position is responsible for developing and improving consumer-facing web sites and applications that millions of individuals use every day. Back-end programming is the focus, but it can extend into the full application stack. The individual will work closely with other members of the technology team in conjunction with project managers, product developers and brand producers.


  • Software development, mostly in OO PHP 7, implementing web sites, feeds and applications
  • Participate in Continuous Integration and improvement through tests, documentation and analysis of application statistics
  • Collaboration with other team members on how to improve our existing technology stack
  • Integration of products and technologies shared across Viacom's Media and Technologies Division
  • Translation of product requirements into technical specifications and tests
  • Comfort in learning new languages as needed


  • Proficient in Object Oriented programming
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of concepts regarding scalability, continuous integration, service oriented architecture Additional Qualifications
  • Experience in PHP, JavaScript, LUA, Databases (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Experience in caching systems (Memcache, Redis, Akamai, Varnish, etc.)
  • Experience working with high volume web sites, media companies is a plus
  • Understanding of content management systems, site management systems and rights management
  • Experience in UNIX/Linux environments
  • Experience in version control systems (SVN, Git, etc.)
  • Knowledge of modern front-end technologies and concepts (responsive design, Less, Sass, Angular, RequireJS, etc.)
