DESCRIPTION


Currently we are looking for a proactive Middle/Senior Testing Engineer for our Minsk office to make the team even stronger.

As a Middle/Senior Testing Engineer, you will be involved in development of a marketing and client relationship management system, which is used by many different departments of the customer’s organization and by 140+ end users. There are various levels of access to some different system modules such as Business Development, Client Relationship Management and Staffing.

ABOUT THE CUSTOMER


Our customer is a leading global investment company based in the USA. Their main focus is on bringing their clients the most innovative approaches to asset and risk management, portfolio construction and governance. With 1,700 and more than 1,000 endowments and foundations around the globe, the customer provides clients with the level of support they require to best meet their investment objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the whole testing process and quality on the project
  • Perform test planning and estimation
  • Work with requirements analysis, test cases development and support, bug reporting (Confluence, JIRA/Zephyr, MS Office)
  • Perform complicated data migration testing (MS SQL Server Management Studio)
  • Perform testing of two web applications (MS Dynamic CRM)
  • Collaborate with the customer’s team (PM, BA, 4 developers, QA Leader), participate in daily meetings with the English-speaking customer
  • Provide weekly test reports and actively use different quality metrics

Requirements

  • At least 4 years’ experience in functional testing
  • Good testing theory knowledge and understanding
  • SQL DB testing knowledge and ability to create complex queries
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) and higher
  • Basic automation principles understanding (what automation is, when it's applicable, at least knowledge of some tools and their purpose)
  • At least basic knowledge of web services and security testing
  • Be ready to be involved into automation tests development process (however, any experience is not required as yet)

Nice to have

  • Experience with Web Services testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI
  • Power BI and CRM related knowledge and experience
  • Experience in UI automation
