Success story

I joined EPAM in 2011 as a Junior Support analyst and nowadays I’m a Team Leader and Delivery Manager. I’m also a Certified Technical Interviewer and Mentor, RD Lab Ambassador, Conference speaker and mentor!

But what makes me successful? I recommend you always strive to keep up with new trends and technologies, never give up, and try new roles, projects and assignments. And don’t forget to share your knowledge with the next generation.

It’s also important to remember the balance between your job and personal life. When I’m not conquering the landscape of the IT world, I enjoy being a Fitness Cycle Instructor. My motto for both my personal and professional life is ‘It’s not getting easier — you're getting better.

Our culture is Agile – it drives our decisions and helps us adapt processes to changing project needs. Our processes utilize Scrum, Kanban, ITIL, MOF and ESOF (EPAM Standard Operations Framework) methodologies.

Life in the Mission-Critical Systems Support Team

First of all, we actively support a healthy lifestyle. One example is the department’s cycling club, “Ride or Die” that hosts cycling weekends quite often. There’s also the “Legion Run” club to train for upcoming competitions.

We also enjoy spending time together with our teammates in other settings. For example, one of our teams hosted a culinary festival with a local cooking school. They made delicious barbeque steaks and everyone felt like a real chef.

Some of us are also part of a great toastmasters community where we are passionate about developing public speaking and leadership skills. Thanks to the skills we learn through toastmasters, internal EPAM conferences like IT Week, SEC and RD Summit are even better because of our team!
